Overview
The Do Dham by Helicopter (Kedarnath–Badrinath) tour is a premium spiritual journey designed for devotees seeking a fast, comfortable, and deeply fulfilling pilgrimage experience. Spanning 3 nights and 4 days, the journey begins in Dehradun with a detailed briefing and preparation session, ensuring that travelers are well-oriented before embarking on this sacred circuit. Covering two of the most revered shrines in India—Shri Kedarnath Ji (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas) and Shri Badrinath Ji (abode of Lord Vishnu)—this itinerary combines devotion with efficiency through seamless helicopter transfers.
The tour is structured to provide both spiritual depth and travel comfort. Pilgrims are flown from Dehradun to Sersi and further to Kedarnath via shuttle services, followed by a visit to the sacred Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the divine wedding site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The Kedarnath darshan is conducted with priority arrangements, after which guests proceed to Badrinath. Alongside temple visits, the itinerary includes meaningful local experiences such as Mana Village sightseeing, enhancing the cultural and spiritual richness of the journey.
A key highlight of this heli-tour is its VIP darshan facility, personalized assistance, and carefully planned logistics that minimize physical strain while maximizing spiritual engagement. The package includes helicopter transfers, accommodation with meals at all destinations, local transport, and ground support teams at each Dham. With dedicated staff, experienced crew, and well-managed operations, the tour ensures a smooth, time-efficient pilgrimage without the challenges of long road journeys or high-altitude trekking.
The itinerary is meticulously designed across four days: arrival and briefing in Dehradun, transfer to Sersi with temple visits, Kedarnath darshan followed by travel to Badrinath, and finally Badrinath darshan with return to Dehradun. Each phase is time-bound with fixed flight schedules, ensuring disciplined operations while allowing adequate time for darshan and rest. The experience concludes with a return to Dehradun, leaving pilgrims with a sense of spiritual fulfillment and memorable aerial views of the Himalayas.
Operational guidelines play a crucial role in maintaining safety and efficiency. Due to helicopter weight limitations, strict baggage rules (maximum 5 kg per person) and accurate body weight declarations are mandatory. Weather conditions in the Himalayas can impact flight schedules, and passengers are advised to remain flexible and keep buffer time in their travel plans. Additionally, health precautions are emphasized, especially for senior citizens and those with medical conditions, given the high-altitude nature of the destinations.
Overall, the Do Dham helicopter yatra is a highly curated, safe, and time-saving pilgrimage experience that blends devotion, convenience, and scenic beauty. While it offers unmatched ease and comfort, travelers must remain mindful of operational constraints, weather uncertainties, and temple authority regulations. With proper preparation and adherence to guidelines, this journey promises not just a visit to sacred shrines, but a truly memorable and spiritually enriching Himalayan experience.

Tour Guidelines
- VIP Darshan passes are issued by the respective temple authorities at Kedarnath and Badrinath. These passes allow priority entry within the temple premises only. All arrangements are carried out strictly as per the guidelines and SOPs set by the temple committees. Since the control lies entirely with the authorities, VIP Darshan may be modified, delayed, or temporarily suspended during VVIP movements or peak rush periods for security and crowd management.
- Due to helicopter load limitations in high-altitude regions, the operator may reassign passengers across different flights to maintain safe weight balance. As a result, passengers travelling together may not always be accommodated on the same helicopter.

- The exact reporting time at Sahastradhara Helidrome will be communicated by our Dehradun team one day prior to departure in the evening.
- Passengers are required to provide accurate body weight details at the time of booking. Any discrepancy may result in denial of boarding without refund.
Weight & Baggage Policy
- Overweight charges will apply at INR 2,000 per kg for passengers weighing above 75 kg. Excess weight will be calculated based on the total group weight exceeding the combined permissible limit (75 kg × number of passengers).
- Each passenger is allowed to carry only one soft baggage (duffel bag) with a maximum weight of 5 kg. Suitcases or hard luggage are not permitted onboard.
- Baggage limits must be strictly followed throughout the journey and may be checked at all destinations. Excess baggage will be charged at INR 500 per kg and will be carried only if aircraft capacity permits. If limits are exceeded significantly, luggage may be offloaded.
- Passengers are advised to pack light and carry only essential items to avoid inconvenience.
Travel & Operational Guidelines
- Helicopter shuttle services will be used for Kedarnath transfers. Due to operational constraints, passengers travelling together may be accommodated on separate shuttle flights.
- Any increase in government taxes, levies, or temple-related charges after booking will be borne by the passengers.
- If online yatra registration becomes mandatory, passengers must complete the process prior to travel. In case of bookings through a travel agency, the agency will handle the registration.

- Mobile network connectivity in Badrinath is limited. BSNL and Jio networks are generally more reliable in this region.
